Believe

Focus on what you want and believe it is already yours.

Until your pain of staying the same is greater than your pain from making a change, you will stay the same.  There is something in your life that you want to make better;  we all have something.  Having said that, there are also things in your life that are working beautifully.  Gratitude for those things is inspiring in itself.

Wayne Dyer, Deepok Chopra and Tony Robbins are a few of the well known spiritual and motivational speakers and authors today.  They all speak to, in varying degrees, how you can be all that you desire and create your own reality.  Forgive my oversimplification.

Before any current day author expressed the law of attraction, it was written in the bible. Mark 11:24 sums it up beautifully; Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

From another spiritual angle, Deepok Chopra quotes a poem that reads:

“You are what your deepest desire is.
As your desire is, so is your intention.
As your intention is, so is your will.
As your will is, so is your deed.
As your deed is, so is your destiny.”
 ~ Upanishads

Your energy will go where you focus.  Focus on what you want and take intentional steps to get there.  We are all made to be great, if even in little ways; and the guide is already in you.  We may have different names for this, and for me it is the Holy Spirit.  We are to care for our physical bodies, feed our minds healthy information and be the best we can be because that makes us better for each other.

Steps to the very best you:
  1. Believe it is already true (it is in you)
  2. Read a book written about the area in your life you want to change  (We tend to read information  similar to what we already believe.  Choose a non fad type book and something with proven behavioral life changes, not quick fixes)
  3. Couple that with daily bible reading, devotional or spiritual author of your choice (this will be your strength)
  4. Write it down and look at it everyday (powerful)
  5. Take action everyday (success breeds success)
