Kathryn is owner of Health Inspires, LLC,  and works as a wellness coach helping people reach and sustain their optimal physical, emotional wellness through healthy choices.  She also works for a large Central Texas healthcare conglomerate in an employer health and wellness director role, working with Austin based employers on wellness initiatives.  She is vice chair of the Board of Directors for the Austin Metro YMCA and on the Austin Mayor’s Health and Fitness Council Board of Directors, helping community and employers with health promotion and disease prevention.  She previously owned and partnered in her company and co-created nutrition educational tools for Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Round Up, school districts and retailers.  She feels fortunate to have partnered and interned with the nationally recognized Dell Center for the Advancement of Healthy Living at the University of Texas School of Public Health, which led to her being published in the July 2011 American Journal of Dietetics.
